With panoramic loch views and first class hospitality, we put fine dining on the menu here at Shieldaig. Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner - or perhaps all three - we invite you to celebrate meal times in style.

Our kitchen and restaurant is something quite special; it’s the beating heart of the hotel. It’s where the magic happens. Where taste buds tingle and where wholesome dining creates lasting memories. Whether you’re looking for a bite to eat to fuel your afternoon adventures, or a romantic setting to enjoy some exquisite food with that special  someone, our wonderful chef Jerome promises to marry your taste buds with the finest Highland cuisine. 

With the finest cuisine comes the finest produce, and the Shieldaig Estate has one of the most extraordinary larders. We’re incredibly proud to use only the best locally sourced produce from in and around the lodge. From rare breed lamb and Highland cattle to fresh lobster, oysters and scallops, all of the ingredients you find on our menu have been locally reared or caught just a stone’s throw from the hotel.

Not only are we passionate about our locally sourced meat and fish, but our vegetables are lovingly grown and hand-picked from our beautiful walled garden here on site. To bring to you only the best flavours within our dishes, Jerome’s menus change daily, incorporating the freshest ingredients for the season.
