Shieldaig Lodge is one of the few remaining traditional Highland shooting
Lodges which still opens its doors to the public. Situated a short
distance from the Highland village of Gairloch on the shores of Loch
Gairloch, Shieldaig Lodge retains the warm and welcoming atmosphere
of its original 18th century origins. With real fires, snug lounges
and traditional whisky bar and all set within its own sheltered bay,
Shieldaig Lodge truly is the perfect place to escape to.
Our quiet seclusion within our own 26,000 acre estate also makes us a very popular
base for golfing, hill walking, climbing, mountain biking, dear stalking, sailing
and fishing parties. And our country and seaside setting is picture perfect for
