Surrounding Area
The surrounding area has some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland.
Driving on the miles of amazing single track roads of Wester Ross is
an adventure in itself, admiring the scenery while avoiding the Deer
and sheep is always a challenge. Recommended is a visit to Poolewe
and the wonderful subtropical Inverewe Gardens. Its also worth popping
over to Applecross , not just for the mountain climbing road but
also for the incredible choice of foods from the Inn and from the
Flower Tunnel and Potting Shed Cafe. Take a day trip to Ullapool
and you must visit The Corrieshalloch Gorge: a 60 meter deep Gorge
overgrown with trees.
